Week 2 maybe not for me

After what i felt was a good week (last week) i have realised you really do need money to make money, i feel i don't have enough at the moment to be playing the stocks and shares game, not only do you have to invest you also need cash ready in case you share price drops as one of mine did this week and to be honest i managed to only just get through the week and hold on to my shares by investing yet another £100 pounds on weds, if i hadn't have done so i would have lost the lot.

It was my fault by not knowing anything firstly i made the mistake of buying by impulse without looking what was going off and thinking the UK top 100 was a safe bet, what i didn't know among other things was that the Goverment had just sold off the last Post Office Shares leaving me in a bit of shit. I was actually in a position where i had to stick another £100 in and hope i could at best make a penny if i was lucky.

I held out and on Friday morn i could have pulled out and sold shares at just a £7 loss, but no i knew better and held on through the day knowing the may climb and i wouldn't have any loss, i waited until closing at 8pm and decided to sell at £30 loss. You may think why didn't i carry them over the weekend, i figured it was worth £30 not to worry the whole weekend after i spent the whole week worrying and nearly losing £200 at one point and nearly having to put another £100 in.

I am not sure i can justify the time wasted and the stress over making a few pence or losing hundreds of pounds, i know it would be a different game if it was thousands i was playing with because it justifys my my time, but i don't know if i could cope with the stress of watching thousands of pounds going down and not just hundreds or less.

Bare in mind i borrowed the £200 from my credit card so it isn't money i should be playing with, i have now transferred the £200 back onto my card and am left with abt £100 or just under that i got for signing up (this can't be drawn but can be used to make money), i may play with this for a week or until it runs out.

I needed to share this because i would hate anyone else going in thinking it is easy to make money, i nearly lost £200 in one week through picking the wrong stock at the wrong time.
